Discovery Call
15 minutes
During a discovery call you may ask questions regarding nutrition counseling regarding the general process, my personal approach, or questions regarding insurance or payment.
A discovery call is not required prior to scheduling an appointment.
Initial Appointment
60 minutes
In the first appointment, we will talk about your long term goals and review your nutrition-related background including medical history, current eating routine, food preferences, relationship with food, etc. We will begin to raise awareness of factors that contribute to your food-related habits to identify strengths and opportunities.
Follow-Up Appointment
30-60 minutes
We will talk through your eating related patterns and habits and use this to identify actions aimed at achieving your short and long term goals in an approachable way. We will continue to practice identifying what is going well, what we want to improve, and how we can make small improvements. We are on this journey together!

Many insurance plans offer reimbursement for services with out-of-network providers. You may call your insurance provider and ask "What are my out-of-network benefits for medical nutrition therapy (MNT)?"
Please note that if you plan to use out-of-network benefits, payment is due to the provider up front, and you will be provided a superbill that you may send to your insurance provider for reimbursement
